Put Your Flag On: Turkey Flag Nails!

HEY! As you know from my UPDATE post, I went to Baku for Eurovision 2012 and boy, it was an AA-MAA-ZIING city! I will post some pictures that I took there later but I do recommend going there for any kind of vacation! Anyway, to represent Turkey, I wore a Turkey flagged t-shirt tucked in a black skirt (maybe I'll do an OOTD/FOTD for that night) but obviously that wasn't enought :D So I painted my nails like so:

RED POLISH: OMB! by Nicole by OPI (I got the Justin Bieber set of 2 polishes from Ulta for like 5 bucks or something so that was a pretty good deal for Nicole by OPI polishes but I'm not sure if it's still available, you gotta check it :)
WHITE POLISH:  Number 60 from Alix Avien
and a nail art brush :D

It was pretty easy for the left hand but I can't say the same about right hand :D Since I'm right-handed, it was a little bit trickier to do and it didn't turn out as good as this one but whatevs!

I just want to say that I LOVE the red polish! It has a little bit of glitter which looks so so so so great! I'd never used this polish before last weekend when I couldn't find a good red polish from my collection :D And I'm definitely gonna use it more because it's sooo great!

So, that's it for today's post and I'll talk to you later!! Have a nice day! / Goodnight!

Put Your Pink On: Matte Nails!

Hi again! As you know from my latest post, I bought some Avon nail polishes and I wore one of them last weekend (since I'm not allowed to wear nail polish to school :/ ) with the Essie "Matte About You" top coat and here's how it came out!

The name of the Avon polish is "Coral Reef" but I couldn't find it online :( I also have "A Cut Above" by Essie on my ring finger which also looks really cool with the matte top coat!

And here it is without the matte top coat:

Overall, the nailpolish was great! It was a little bit thicker that my other polishes but I love the color, I love the brush so I do recommend this to all of you!

Have a nice day! / Goodnight!

Update!

Hello!! Yes, I know, I'm bad at blogging regularly but right now, I'm at an airport, waiting for my flight to go to Baku for Eurovision 2012!! (Wow, that was a long sentence :D) Anyway, I took some pictures of my suitcase and the stuff inside so wait for a "What to pack for a weekend trip?" post when I come back! Thank you!

Have a nice day! / Goodnight!

Here's a picture from the airport:

Happy Mother's Day!

A little bit late for this I guess, but I just wanted to do a quick post and share what I got for my mother!

I got this heart-shaped-frame thing from Bun Design and you can put any picture you want in it! In my opinion, it's one of the best gifts for a day like this because you can customize it by putting a special photo in it and if you want to go the extra mile and make it even more special like me :) , you can cut out some same sized papers, write some sweet things to your mother on them and put them in the place where you put the photo! So here's what it is!

(Have A Nice Day!)

HAUL: Avon, Gap, Sephora!

HELLO! So last weekend, I went shopping (Surprise surprise!) and I bought some stuff from Gap and Sephora. And my friend's cousin works with Avon so she brings the catalogue every single month and we order the stuff that we want, blah blah blah, they come in about 2-3 weeks later which is a little annoying but it's definitely worth it :D So, lets jump into everything!

  • SEPHORA:

--> I bought the Essie "Matte About You" polish which I saw online and wanted it immediately! I will do a whole review kind of post on it so I don't want to talk about it a lot but it is amazing!

--> I bought the Sephora Express Dry Shampoo, which was a need but I looked through the website and I couldn't find it so sorry about that! But it's not like wow baby BEST DRY SHAMPOO EVER, I just needed one so got the original Sephora one :)

  • AVON:
--> I bought the powder above from Colortrend called Oil Control which actually says "translucent" but I've used it enough to tell that it's not translucent at all! But it's not like it's bad because it kinda covers the dark circles underneath my eyes (Obviously, dark circles are not under my nose!) and it might be one of the best matte highlighters to use in summer. I use it all over my face right now but I don't think it will be the same when I have a little bit of a tan :)

--> I bought 2 nail polishes called "Sea Breeze" and "Coral Reef" but I couldn't find them online either!

--> I also got a brush but that's not the most interesting thing if you ask me :D I just got it because I didn't have a small brush that was able to be carried in a bag so I got one :)

  • GAP:
I only got one thing from Gap but I thought I'd share it with you because I think it's really pretty!

It's like a blush pink colored top which is kinda shaped like a shirt but it's not the shirt material, you know :) It's more casual than a shirt but still dressy enough to be worn with heels!

So that's it for today, hoped you liked the things I bought! And, I guess, I'll see you later! Goodnight / Have a nice day!

April Faves&Hates

Talk about how time passes! It's May already! And this means the summer is coming which makes me super excited in various ways :D And for today's post, as I promised, I have my April Faves&Hates to share with you! And boy, do I have a lot of products! So I'm just gonna jump into everything!

FAVORITES:
--> This hair fave is from John Frieda and it's called: Brilliant Brunette Shine Shock High-Shine Perfecting Glosser. I use this mostly when I curl my hair and besides the fact that it just makes my hair shine like it has sparkles in it, it smells amazing! It is definitely perfect for 2nd day hair!

--> Moving on to lip products, first is a lip butter from Revlon called 050 Berry Smoothie. It is the perfect pink for me and I love the fact that it's moisturizing and coloring(?) at the same time if that makes sense :D
--> 2nd lip product is by Stila and it is a lip glaze called "Action CN" and I discovered it recently and have been wearing it since! It's a pinkish color with a hint of golden! It looks perfecto! (sorry I don't really know Italian :D )
--> 3rd is a Maybelline Baby Lips chapstick in "Peach Kiss" and it is the most moisturizing chapstick i've ever used and I say that without doubt! I put it on before I go to sleep and when I wake up I can still feel it on my lips! But I wouldn't recommend it unless you like that feeling when you wake up :D
--> This is another chapstick but I just love the smell of this! It's a Sprite Lip Smacker and I'm pretty sure you can get lip smackers at any drugstore but it smells just like Sprite! Even though I don't drink Sprite, I love the lip smacker of it!

--> Going on with eye products, the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in 608 Cottage Cheese has been my fave thing to use as an inner corner highlight! It just makes my eyes pop!
--> These have been raved a lot and unfortunately I only have one of the colors. It's the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze (very cute name!) and I got it in March when I was in LA and the fact that they are not available in Turkey just makes me angry! But other than that, you can just put this on and run out the door!
--> This is a mascara from ... wait for it ... Forever 21!! Yes, you read that right! Again, I bought this when I was in LA and it was a set of 5 mascaras but this is the best of them. It's called the "Curling Mascara" and it curls my lashes amazingly (Daa!)

--> This is a bronzer that I bought because Sam Schuerman on Youtube raved about it crazily! That's what she uses every day as her bronzer and I thought I might give it a try and it is amazing! It's the NYC Smooth Skin in Sunny and it is the perfect bronzer for my skin tone and works amazing!

LOVE-HATES:
These are not products that I like but unfortunately there is a negative side to them :(
--> First, this is a nail polish from Nicole by OPI called "Rainbow Over the S-Kylie and it's the prettiest glitter nail polish I own. However it is so fricking hard to take off!! I literally spent 2 hours trying to take it off! But it still is amazing so I think I'll save it for special occasions!
--> This is the Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Dark-Circle Roller and I believe mine is the light to medium color. It does its job incredibly well but the only problem is it makes my eyes water like crazy! Maybe it's only me but I just hate the fact that I have to deal with watery eyes every time I put it on and go out! But still, I use it every time I put makeup on because it covers my dark circles very well!

So that was it! I know I had a lot of products but I just love them, you know ;) Soo have a great day / goodnight!

Apologies!

OMG! I'm so so so sorry for not updating my blog for the past 2 weeks! I have been sick (not for the whole 2 weeks of course :D ) and I had exams and projects that I had to work on so I couldn't really keep up with my blog. But I promise to post my April Faves&Hates tomorrow (can't believe it's May already) so I guess, that's it! Again, so sorry for the lack of posts! So have a great day/Goodnight!
